Studio
A New York City based architecture practice for complex work — designed with technical rigor, built to last.
Anne Bannon
AIA, LEED AP, NCARB
Anne founded Anne Bannon Architect in 2025 after nearly two decades of practice in New York City, working on residential and institutional projects that demanded close coordination of complex building systems, rigorous documentation, and an exacting approach to construction delivery.
Her background includes technically demanding adaptive reuse and new construction work — experience that informs how she approaches every project, regardless of scale. Sustainability and building performance are central to her practice: Anne is a recognized Passive House practitioner and has presented high-performance design strategies at NYPH and NAPHN conferences, contributing to broader conversations around energy-efficient and resilient architecture.
In 2025, Anne founded her own architectural practice, continuing a collaborative, design-driven approach rooted in careful listening and long-term value. Her work balances respect for context with contemporary needs, resulting in spaces that are both enduring and responsive.
A resident of Brooklyn, Anne spends her time outside the studio exploring the city—often accompanied by her cheeky little dog, Rem.
